What inspired you to get involved with Angels Among Us?
My wife used to run a preschool and one of her students had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Seeing the struggles her family went through not only emotionally, but financially opened my eyes to how far reaching the impact is for families battling cancer. I became aware of Angels Among Us during that time and saw firsthand how Angels can impact the lives of the families they work with.

What do you enjoy most about serving on Angels Among Us’ board?

I have enjoyed being a part of the growth of Angels over the past couple of years directly impacting not only the number of families served but also by the increasing amount of financial assistance we can provide.

What vacation destination is on the top of your bucket list?
Italy and Iceland are our top two.

One of your favorite local restaurants?

With a dwindling number of choices for good Italian food, Jimmy D’s is far and ahead the best. If we are in the mood for steak the Mohagany filet is still the best in town.

When you think about your legacy, what is most important to you?

The biggest direct impact you can leave on the world are your children. I hope they are better in every way than I am and carry on with compassion, empathy and enough confidence to achieve whatever they want in this world with the hope it makes a positive impact in the community they serve.
